This notice explains how Eggcorn Digital ("Eggcorn", "we") uses your personal data when you buy or receive a ticket on this website. We follow the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023.

What we collect

• Your name, email address and phone number when you buy tickets.
• The name and email of anyone you transfer a ticket to.
• Order details: which shows, how many tickets, amounts and payment status.
• Entry records: when a ticket was scanned at the door.
• Basic technical data such as your IP address, used to prevent fraud and abuse.

We never see or store your card details. Payments are handled by Flutterwave under its own privacy policy.

Why we use it

• To sell you tickets, send your QR codes and receipts, and let you in at the door (to perform our contract with you).
• To enforce the two-tickets-per-person limit and prevent fraud (our legitimate interests).
• To contact you about changes to a show you have tickets for.
• To tell you about future Eggcorn live shows, only if you ticked the box. You can unsubscribe at any time by replying to any email.

Who we share it with

• Flutterwave, to process your payment.
• Our hosting and email providers, who process data for us under contract.
• Venue and door staff see your name when your ticket is scanned.

We don't sell your data.

How long we keep it

Order and payment records are kept for 6 years for accounting purposes. Marketing preferences are kept until you unsubscribe.

Your rights

You can ask to see, correct or delete your data, or object to how we use it, by emailing events@eggcorndigital.com. You can also complain to the Nigeria Data Protection Commission.
